CareerBuilder Names Scott Brueggeman Vice President of Consumer Marketing

Industry Marketing Veteran Joins Management Team at CareerBuilder

CHICAGO, Jan. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- CareerBuilder, the industry's most complete recruitment resource for efficiently finding better candidates and jobs, today announced the appointment of Scott Brueggeman as its vice president of consumer marketing. Brueggeman is responsible for CareerBuilder's brand strategy and development, consumer communications, media activities, public relations efforts and Web site usability.

Prior to joining CareerBuilder.com, Brueggeman successfully managed marketing divisions across a variety of industries. As the vice president of marketing and product management for the Internet appliance division at Vtech Industries, he successfully launched new products to meet the growing consumer demand for easy email access. During his six years at SBC/Ameritech, he managed several key areas such as its start-up cable TV group, cellular and paging division, and consumer services organization.

Prior to joining SBC/Ameritech, Brueggeman led marketing efforts in several locations for PepsiCo's field marketing organization, as well as assisted in Pepsi's re-launch of its Brazilian operations. He began his marketing career at Procter and Gamble in brand management.

Brueggeman holds a Bachelor of Science in Transportation from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy and a Masters of Management in Business from J. L. Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.
