Overview

Jackson Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) provides medication-assisted treatment and therapeutic interventions to individuals aged 18 and older who are battling an addiction to opioids. Our compassionate team of medical professionals believes that, by offering patients a comprehensive treatment approach, achieving lasting recovery becomes obtainable. The following medications are available for patients to incorporate into their treatment plans:

Methadone: As a synthetic opioid agonist, methadone safely assists patients in eliminating cravings for continued opioid use while diminishing withdrawal symptoms that can occur when an individual ceases use of an opioid.

Subutex: Subutex is a partial opioid agonist-antagonist that utilizes buprenorphine as its active ingredient in order to provide relief from the physical symptoms of withdrawal while eliminating cravings for continued opioid use.

Suboxone: Containing both naloxone and buprenorphine as its active ingredients, Suboxone reduces the symptoms of withdrawal while eliminating cravings for additional opioid use. Unlike other medications available in treatment, Subutex will cause patients to experience withdrawal symptoms should they abuse opioids during the course of treatment.
