In 1996, Community Hospital Corporation (CHC) was established by a group of not-for-profit and community-operated healthcare systems with the intention of preserving the not-for-profit status of community-based hospitals. Driven by the passion they shared, this group of organizations formed CHC to sustain community hospitals well into the future.
Since its inception, CHC remains a not-for-profit company whose sole mission is to help hospitals remain community-operated and governed. CHC owns, manages and consults with hospitals across the United States.
Based in Plano, Texas, our organization provides community hospitals with the resources and experience they need to improve the quality of treatment outcomes, patient satisfaction and financial performance.
