Nissan is made up of a richly diverse group of people, as reflected in the company's leadership team and the numerous corporate outreach programs in which we participate in the community. Together, we have what it takes to build cars and trucks with the power to change both the way you view the world and the way you move in it.

We prioritize the well-being of our employees above all else, because everyone should enjoy coming to work. Whether you're on the design team or work in HR, we want to make sure that you're able to use your time and resources most efficiently, without losing sight of the things that matter.

That's why we have a range of benefits and programs across our global network that promote a healthy work-life balance and help employees pursue professional goals and personal passions. Just like customers can customize their vehicles, our employees can customize their work arrangements from health insurance coverage, on-site childcare to "family support leave," telecommuting, and other flexible work arrangements.

Diversity & Inclusion

At Nissan, we strive to reflect the world we serve in our workforce. And that world is increasingly diverse and ever-moving. Diversity means growth and development opportunities for everyone, respect for all individuals and the inclusion of new ideas, viewpoints, and experiences. By encouraging respect for all individuals and sharing our unique perspectives, our company will be stronger and sustained long into the future.

At Nissan, our executive leadership team is committed to diversity. The Americas Diversity Council was created to optimize and leverage diversity across our business and supports our efforts by providing guidance and top level direction.

This commitment has been acknowledged by the Human Rights Campaign, which gave Nissan a perfect score of 100 in the Corporate Equality Index, up 70 points from 2011, and one of the fastest rises in the history of the index. And the score was based in large part to Nissan’s many Diversity Programs.

We also have 15 different resource groups that support and celebrate diversity throughout our employee base, and 20% of our employees belong to at least one resource group.
