403b Plan: An individual 403b plan is available for eligible employees.  Employees can opt to join the plan from date of hire or at the beginning of each quarter.

Payroll:  Employees are paid bi-weekly every other Friday.  Employee pay is direct deposited; using Complete Payroll Systems paperless system, employees have access to their pay information electronically.

Holiday Schedule (Offices and Some Programs Closed): 

·        New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after
                                                                                                                                                Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day. 


Earned Time:  Eligible employees earn accrued Paid Time Off (PTO) after successfully completing their 90-day probation period.

Educational Assistance Policy:  BFAIR may offer eligible employees a discretionary education benefit of partial tuition reimbursement based on available resources to be used for: courses offered by an accredited institution for graduate or undergraduate accredited programs or certifications for which the employee fits the guidelines and has attained a minimal  acceptable grade of a “B”.


Tuition Remission:  BFAIR partners with the Providers Council to offer Tuition Remission through the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Board of Higher Education.  This program provides 100% tuition remission for certain human service providers who attend state supported undergraduate higher education courses.  It is a great opportunity for staff to continue their education at a substantially reduced cost. Staff needs to meet the criteria laid out in the Tuition Remission Program.
