CAMP CareerBuilder is CareerBuilder.com's comprehensive summer internship program for college students interested in gaining real-world business experience at an industry leader.

As you might soon find out, we love acronyms at CareerBuilder. CAMP stands for College Apprentice Mission Program, because it is our mission to provide college students with an experience that will help them grow, both in their professional and personal lives.

Why else is it called CAMP, you ask? Well, for one thing, it's in the summer. You will learn new skills. You will meet new people. You may even go sailing on Lake Michigan or raid the kitchen for ice cream. And, most importantly, you will have fun!

"My internship with CareerBuilder taught me more than I could have ever expected. The Magazine Team made me feel welcome, the Executives were accessible, and I received a ton of insight into how a business actually runs. I learned the essential skills of research, editing, and sales and how to manage my schedule effectively. No wonder CareerBuilder is number one!"
-Jennifer Meacham, Howard University '10 CBMagazines Intern '07

The Program

Each intern will spend the majority of his or her time working on projects in a specific department. Here you will be given ownership of real projects and responsibilities, giving you the opportunity to make a significant impact on our company.

Once a week all interns will join together for a group session on a business-related topic. These sessions will help you develop skills that you can use to excel at CareerBuilder, in your future career, and in your personal life. They will also provide you with an in-depth look at CareerBuilder and the business world, and are often led by our expert management and C-level Executives!

Applications are no longer being accepted for our 2008 summer internship opportunities. Thanks to everyone who applied!

CAMP CareerBuilder will run from June 16th through August 8th 2008. Earlier start dates or later end dates may be arranged with the individual hiring manager on a case-by-case basis.

Internships are held at one of our four offices located in Chicago, IL. Office location will vary depending on position.

-Dimple Patel, DePaul University Graduate Student

Our Company Values
Marketing Principles 101: Corporate vs. Consumer
Sales Process Overview
