Management Training:
Our management training program is a comprehensive 8 week program that guides you through every hourly position and management function in the restaurant! You will be trained at one of our two certified training locations in Wisconsin by our best managers and expert hourly coaches.
Promotions from Within:
We know how important it is to you to grow, develop and advance in your career. Whenever possible, we promote qualified employees before recruiting from outside Larson Companies. However, Larson Companies reserves the right to hire from outside the organization at its sole discretion.
Transfers:
Larson Companies allows transfers when business conditions or special situations warrant such actions. Qualified employees in good standing may transfer to another location.
Health Plan:
Larson Companies offers a fully-insured health plan which has two plan options. The plan does not require referral to receive the highest benefits under the plan. At the time you need care, simply choose a provider that is part of the plan network to receive the in-network benefit level. You may access care outside of the PPO network; however, your benefit will be reduced to the out-of-network level. You pay the cost of health insurance on a pre-tax basis.
Dental Plan:
Larson Companies offers a dental plan where you have a choice for your dental care: PPO Dentist Network or Out-Of-Network Coverage. You pay the cost of dental insurance on a pre-tax basis.
Vision Plan:
Larson Companies offers vision benefits under a program which offers a comprehensive vision care insurance plan for you and your family’s vision care needs, including coverage for participating and non-participating providers. You pay the cost of vision insurance on an after-tax basis.
Employee and Dependent Life Insurance:
Participants in the Health Plan are automatically provided basic term life insurance coverage. This benefit provides a $15,000 death benefit to your survivor(s) if you die while covered by the plan. The premium for basic life insurance is completely paid by Larson Companies.
Optional Supplemental Insurance is separate from the Basic Life Insurance coverage you may be provided by participating in the health plan. This life insurance would provide you with life insurance coverage for yourself, your spouse and/or your children. You pay the cost of life insurance on an after-tax basis.
Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) is available with supplemental life insurance in an equal amount. If you die in an accident, AD&D pays an additional benefit equal to your life insurance coverage. You pay the cost of AD&D on an after-tax basis.
Short - term Disability:
Participants in the Health Plan are automatically provided STD insurance coverage. This benefit provides you coverage of 66.7% of your weekly pay (not including tips) not to exceed $800.00 per week. The premium for STD is completely paid by Larson Companies.
Long - term Disability:
The LTD plan provides continuing income if you become totally disabled (as defined by the terms of the plan) and are unable to work. This benefit provides you coverage of 60% of your monthly earnings, not to exceed $5000.00 per month. You pay the cost of LTD on an after-tax basis.
Health Care & Dependent Care Spending Accounts:
Spending accounts allow you to set aside money to pay for eligible expenses with tax-free dollars. Use the health care spending account to cover the cost of health, dental, vision and hearing expenses which are not covered under an insurance plan for you and your dependents. Use the dependent care spending account to cover the cost of dependent care while you are at work.
401K:
You have access to one of the most convenient ways to save for your retirement—the Larson Companies 401k Profit Sharing Plan. Generally speaking, you may contribute from one percent to 75 percent of your pay up to the legal limits. You are always 100% vested in the value of your own contributions and may increase or decrease your contribution on a monthly basis. For each $1.00 that you contribute, up to 75% of your compensation, Larson Companies will contribute 20 cents.
Vacation and Sick Time:
Vacation accrual begins upon date of hire, with 2 weeks accrued within the 1st year of service. Vacation accrual is based on years of service; up to 3/4/5/6 weeks per year after 3/5/10/15 years of service. Managers also receive 6 days of Sick Leave per year.
Bonuses:
We offer a monthly and quarterly bonus for our managers. The monthly bonus is based on costs; the quarterly bonus is based on sales, profits and employee turnover. Bonuses are available to be earned after training has been completed.
